Our Process
Step 1: Initial Meeting
During our initial meeting we listen and gather information about what your kitchen or bath goals and needs are. We focus not only on the aesthetic you are looking to achieve but how you utilize the space in your daily life. We will discuss the layout and style options for your kitchen as well as the preliminary budget to complete your project. This initial meeting is free of charge to you.
Step 2: Design Commitment
Because we value the time of our designers, we ask that you sign our simple design agreement and make a small financial commitment, generally $2,000 to $3,000 depending on the scope of the project. We will credit this design fee against the total project cost once the final contract is agreed upon. This design agreement lays out our design commitment to you and typically includes measuring of the space and initial sketches, two plan review meetings to assess layout, look and feel, two sets of plans and two revisions of the final floor plan, including notes for permitting, and two to three selection meetings to decide on cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware, appliances and other materials.
Once the commitment is signed, our team will come to your home to take precise measurements and gather additional details to assist in the design.
Step 3: Design Concept, & Budget Presentation
Based on the in-home measurements, our design team will prepare and provide you with detailed product specifications, floor plans, elevations, and perspectives, so you can understand the entire scope of your project. Our preliminary cost estimate and timeline will be presented in detail so you know exactly what to expect. When all the design requirements have been satisfied and your selections have been made, we will present the final design plan together with an itemized cost detail and document everything in the project contract. Our transparent approach means everything is in writing.
Step 4: Ordering, Delivery, & Installation
Once the contract is signed and the deposit representing 50% of the project cost is received, we will submit the specifications to the chosen manufacturers and order the necessary materials. The manufacturers will provide us with tentative delivery dates and we will work with you to schedule the installation. Once construction and installation begins, we will be in constant communication with you and our experienced professionals will manage the process from start to finish, ensuring your complete satisfaction.
